Barter Business Unlimited, a Connecticut trade exchange company, announced today that Kim Brewer, a senior trade executive with the company, has been appointed to a “Certified Trade Broker” status by the International Reciprocal Trade Association.
“Professionals earning the ‘Certified Trade Broker’ status have demonstrated a high level of competence and knowledge through their years of industry experience and satisfactory performance on the certifying exam. Certified Trade Brokers are recognized for their solid background in accounting, trade dollar economics, ethics and barter marketing techniques,” explained Debbie Lombardi, president, Barter Business Unlimited. “The Barter Business Unlimited team is very proud of Kim’s achievement and looking forward to her leadership with our organization as we expand our services and operations.”
A Bristol, CT native and Tunxis Community College marketing major, Brewer has been a trade associate with Barter Business Unlimited since its inception. In addition to the enhanced credibility that the Certified Trade Broker status confers on designees, certified trade brokers earn internationally-recognized credentials, the potential for career advancement, recognition at industry events, as well as the satisfaction of completing a comprehensive certification process.
