Steve Halen, the owner of My Trade America, was interviewed in a barter-centric article in the Southwest Riverside News Network last Saturday. The article asserts that his network has 50,000 members, and 5,000 in California, but assumes that the company is a, “fledgling online barter service”.
There are presently 50,000 barter members in Halen’s network and more than 5,000 in California alone.
How can a member of My Trade America have trust or confidence in their exchange if the exchange blatantly plagiarizes copyright protected content and ignores intellectual property copyright notices?
The home page content on My Trade America website was copied word for word from http://www.vbarter.com, which is one of the VirtualBarter.com powered barter sites that has been online for almost 10 years.

Wow…that’s down right disgusting my trade America shame on you for that. Damn man how obvious can you be with that Steve, that was a business you started and formed but off someone else insight. That’s pathetic as soon as I read this I called Steve and his wife to cancel my acct. I do not want to associate myself with people that conduct business that way.
