Community Currency Assisting in Murder Investigation

According to Chicago Breaking News Center,

The Community Currency Exchange Association of Illinois announced Wednesday night that it is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the investigation into the December slaying of business owner Brian Choi of Wilmette.

Choi, 55, was found shot to death around midnight Dec. 30 in the trunk of his car parked in the 5100 block of North St. Louis Avenue, around the corner from his currency exchange.

“Brian was a good man, devoted husband and father, and respected member of the Community Currency Exchange Association,” John Iberl, President of CCEA, said in a news release. “He will be greatly missed. We are committed to assisting the Chicago police and hope the $10,000 reward will help to find the persons responsible for this tragedy.”

Police said that robbery was the suspected motive in the slaying.
