Salome owns his own Upper East Side florist shop and said he’s bartered about $150,000 in goods and services — from computers and fridge fixes, accounting and even medical expenses.

“There are dentists on this. We couldn’t afford it because dental premiums went through the roof, so now we have dental care here through barter,” Salome said.

Small business owners said not only does it help them during cash-strapped times but also helps drive in business they may not otherwise get.
