Art Barter Is Back!
ART BARTER presents Baptiste Ibar for the first time in the UK and would love for you to attend the private view on Saturday 10th March 2012 at The Last Tuesday Society between 4-8pm.
| In December 2010 Baptiste exhibited one of his surreal and engaging paintings on wood entitled ‘Sun King, 2010′ in the Art Barter New York exhibition. Although he received luxurious offers such as 35 real mink furs and a space in an eco-spiritual survival village, Baptiste chose an offer made by the two founders of Art Barter which was to curate his first UK solo show. This show will be an example that the Art Barter system works in practice.
Baptiste will be exhibiting his Busts series entitled ‘Before Your Eyes’ in association with Viktor Wynd Fine Art at The Last Tuesday Society. The hypnogogic canvases will be exhibited next to works on paper which will be available for barter. Baptiste is also a talented musician, successful with his band Bizi Gara, and will be performing at 7pm on the opening afternoon.
