It is a platform that takes the age-old concept of bartering and brings it into the 21st century. Bartering has so many benefits: it’s cheap, it improves communities, and it’s a way for you to find new adventures and learn new skills, all while meeting great people in your neighborhood. There’s a problem, however, with the old-fashioned barter system: it’s hard to find someone you trust who has what you want, who is also willing to accept what you have.
This is where uSwapia comes in.
We want to create something new - something like bartering - and make it accessible to everyone, essentially unlocking the good neighbor and entrepreneur in us all. You can trade what you are good at for what you need or want, and it doesn’t have to be a one-to-one trade. We are harnessing the power of online collaboration to enable an easier, more flexible, and truly fun experience.
