Ormita Video: Fact or Faked? Did we find the real Selina Markham?

If you haven’t been following the ongoing story surrounding Daniel Evans and Ormita, what you need to know is that Dennis Smith has recently published a 60,000 word report detailing what he says is continual fraud and abuse by Daniel Evans and Ormita. Ormita publishes frequent news about its conquests and acquisitions with largesse, and the Ormita Report brings light to all claims Ormita has made, calling out Daniel and Ormita. In my own recent investigation of Ormita, I have found evidence to back the claims made in the Ormita report, including the fraudulent identity of an Ormita employee, Selina Markham. What follows is a new investigation around an email sent me by another Ormita employee, Gigi David.

Have we at last found the elusive Selina Markham??

I received another email from Gigi David of Ormita (who has yet to respond to any of my email or requests for contact) containing a link to a video on YouTube, posted March 31st, 2014 to the account owned by Selina Markham, who, according to our research, is probably a stolen/made-up identity.

The video portrays various individuals that are given different titles like “Project Based Research”, “Marketing & Design”, “P.T. Marketing”, and “Call Centre Manager”.

The first to speak is a man named Guarav, whose title also says he is “(Selina Markham)”.

So, do we finally have the real identity of Selina Markham?

Is she an indian man named Guarav who just happens to dress as a woman, who uses a white woman’s picture on social media?

I don’t know, but the Guarav I see in the video doesn’t match the Selina Markham I have seen elsewhere…

Or the second speaker, Marufa, who also bears the name Selina Markham. Is this the Selina Markham that has been sending me email for a number of years? Marufa doesn’t match the pictures of Selina’s social media profiles either.

Has Ormita confirmed very clearly that Selina Markham is a stolen identity/false identity that is continually updated by two people, Guarav and Marufa, at the behest of their employer? It seems to be true.

Why would Ormita need two people to pretend to be someone else? What use-value does a fake identity have for a legitimate business? And why put this title on the video now? After years of using the identity? I leave you to answer these questions for yourself.

At first glance, it seems to be a video defending the Ormita organization against the allegations of Dennis and the Ormita Report. Why wouldn’t the employees of a worldwide company make a video about their employment and talk about how it is to work for their boss?

There are a couple of inconsistencies in the video that give me pause.

First, Nazmul at :16, if you listen carefully, is in a restaurant. You can hear dishes clinking in the background. Never mind that though, he is probably a part time employee and on break at his second job.

Then there is Michael and Omar, who pronounce the name of the company wrong. That’s ok though, because people in different cultures pronounce words differently.

Then you have Charlotte who is filming on a balcony of what is probably her apartment, who says her name with a ch sound instead of an sh sound. She’s probably just different and probably works from home. It is the age of home-sourcing after all.

Vikas and Omar (same Omar) did their recording in a bathroom. Shower curtains and other evidence makes that pretty clear. I like to video in the bathroom, it gives the sound a nice reverb quality that you can’t get in other rooms. So I can look past this.

And, since the video is done in a hurry to make sure it gets out to everyone, I’m sure that all of these people used their cell phones to film and compile the footage. That’s the only reason I can think of to have a video in portrait mode instead of landscape, and a number of the speakers have video in portrait mode. When you are in a hurry, you use whatever you have, or at least that’s how I do it.

If you want to make things easy for everyone, just give them a script and have them read it to the camera. That sure seems to be the case here. Everyone is reading the same piece. It’s a good thing. It flows better that way.

But to play devil’s advocate, let’s make some assumptions and see how it plays out from there…

Let’s assume Daniel is trying to cover his tracks because the Ormita Report is factually correct. If I were Daniel, I would go to Fiverr.com and make an ad. For $50 I could get ten people to give me a video of the script I send them. So I post the ad, get ten people to make a video, and then edit it on my Mac. It wouldn’t take longer than an hour or so, start to finish. And video gives a nice polish to my claims that my company operates all over the world.

I don’t know if any of this is true or not, but it is highly suspicious to me. Especially a man named Guarav that goes by Selina Markham. And a woman who goes by the same name. Two people using a fake identity for Ormita in an official capacity.

I reached out to Dennis of the Ormita Report to get his expert opinion on the video. When asked what he thought of the video, he answered:

In The Ormita Report I demonstrated that Daniel Evans uses false personalities to perpetuate the Ormita fraud. I also mentioned that every time he lies (like with this obviously fraudulent defense piece), he creates more evidence of the fraud that it is. In fact most of the evidence for The Ormita Report’s conclusion that he is a conman has come from his own words and actions - like this. This latest video from Ormita is another example of MANY. What viewers need to realise is that this is one very sick individual who cannot see what we can all see - the Ormita thing is not only a fraud, but it is a joke, like a rolling Soap Opera that is burning victims across the globe since 2008. Never forget that Daniel Evans is a conman; a convicted criminal guilty of crimes of dishonesty (New Zealand) and that Ormita is a fraud based on four core misrepresentations:

1. That it is the world’s largest trading network - it’s not

2. That it has a quarter of a million members - it doesn’t

3. That it has a presence in dozens of countries - except for two that I know of they are all digital and serviced offices

4. That if has annual trade volumes of 3.4 billion dollars - it hasn’t!

Based on the conman’s modus operandii that I detailed extensively in The Ormita Report, Daniel (and therefore Ormita) will contune to fabricate documents, websites, emails and more in a totally desperate effort to cover up his tracks and futile attempt to try to save the Ormita ship from sinking. In the process of course, he provides the world with more evidence of the fraud. I welcome this video that even a child can see what it actually is and encourage you to spread your analysis and commentary far and wide!

As I continue to research the claims made in the Ormita Report, I come more and more to agree with Dennis. Ormita continues to show itself a house of cards.
