Dear Ormita Licensees,
For you who do not know me, I am Oussama (Sam) Fanous the former UAE Ormita licensee. Some of you know by now that I quit Ormita after discovering the shameful and fraudulent conduct by the so-called Daniel Evans. That was 6 months before The Ormita Report was published.
The reason I have not communicated with you yet about this scandal was that I wanted to wait for the report to be published. I was looking for all the facts and evidence after an extensive investigation into the conduct of the “fraud genius” Daniel Mensi Evans. I did not want to leave any doubt in your minds about the facts to do with Ormita and also not to leave any room for anyone to even think that I, and only I, have a conflict with this ‘creature’.
The first moment I got my own evidence about the fraud was back in September 2013. Without hesitation, I immediately emailed the fraudster and demanded that all my money which I lost because of his fraudulent representation be refunded and the license agreement to be annulled as if it never existed. I threatened him with legal action but he refused my demands and instead accused me of extortion. I raised a legal case against him in the UAE and those matters are now in the hands of the Dubai Police.
I did this because I simply could not see myself or any of my staff at the time presenting what we knew was fraud to any prospective client (or to continue the fraud and the lies with our existing clients). Successful business is all about Integrity, Trust, Respect and Ethical conduct. Without these values in business we have no business ‘people’ but business ‘ANIMALS’. Daniel Evans is a perfect example of this.
Dear licensees, I am sure that ALL of you in one way or the other have experienced, noticed or at least doubted many things in your dealing with Daniel Evans. What stood out for me were the many aliases he was using to deceive us all and to make us think and believe that he is the CEO of the world’s largest barter company that has many departments servicing its licensees. These aliases are all in fact Daniel Evans. How disgusting and shameful!!!!!!!!
At the beginning when I learned this, I thought to myself that this guy must be mentally sick. When I read The Ormita Report I realized that I was right…
Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues, I have been in the bartering industry for well over 17 years and I can assure you all that our business is built on the 4 value pillars I mentioned above; Integrity, Trust, Respect and Ethical conduct and when even one of these pillars is missing the whole structure will collapse. So for those of you who are still hanging in there trying to believe that you are shielded from the damages that this Tsunami (The Ormita Report) is starting to create, I tell you that the tidal waves will take care of your hesitation. Please don’t leave it too late to do act. Happily, I predict that The Ormita Report – a Tsunami of truth – will erase the word Ormita from the global directory of trade exchanges once and for all.
What are our options in moving forward?
1. Following publication of The Ormita Report, Ormita is dead. Retaining the status quo will not be an option.
2. You may choose to leave the barter industry – close your business down.
3. If you wish to stay in the barter industry and rebrand, this is very simple and easy and can be done in as little as 24 hours. If you want me to help you get new barter exchange software, I am happy to advise you of the research I did when I was considering my options. There are few good providers who can help you transition immediately.I advise the few remaining Ormita Franchisees to wake up from this Ormita nightmare and maintain your values towards the people and clients who trusted you.
Yours truly
Sam Fanous
